Após o sucesso de várias equipas da ECOLUTION em mais de 12 intercâmbios internacionais chegou a vez da ECOLUTION organizar o seu próprio Youth Exchange sob o título: Linking the past with the future!!! O projecto foi recentemente aprovado pela Agência Nacional e irá realizar-se em Setembro de 2010. Fica o sumário executivo:
The project Linking the Past with the Future aims to raise youth awareness concerning the need to develop global leaders to promote sustainable principles and guide the population towards a carbon free society. It will take place in Lisbon, organized by ECOLUTION ASSOCIAÇÃO under Action 1.1 – Youth Exchanges.
The team of 30 participants will have a strong personal contribution as the short-term goal is to make the youth realize that they are responsible of their present and future actions that can affect the environment. “Linking the Past with the Future” promotes social inclusion, cooperation and tolerance and helps young people with disabilities or coming from different backgrounds integrate in the group.
The project aims to contribute to the personal education of the youngsters, through which they can become active members of the local community and of the European Union. We want to encourage them to take into consideration the existent European-level problems, to offer solutions about how they can contribute to building a sustainable future and how to make their voices heard at local, national and international level.
